For more than forty years, Theresa Bergeron has lived, worked, raised a family, and built a business in North Dundas.

After completing degrees at Queen's University and the University of Guelph, Theresa established her farm near South Mountain, where she raised four children and built what would become Thermohair Inc., a successful Canadian manufacturing business whose products are sold across Canada and internationally.

Building and sustaining that business taught Theresa the importance of hard work, financial responsibility, problem-solving, and long-term planning. Her entrepreneurial achievements were recognized nationally when she was named one of Canada's Top 10 Entrepreneurial Women and featured on CBC Venture.

Throughout her career, Theresa has remained committed to her community through financial sponsorships, agricultural leadership, and supporting local initiatives. Today, she serves as Deputy Mayor of North Dundas, where she is known for doing her research, asking tough questions, and providing residents with direct and honest answers.

Theresa believes local government works best when decisions are based on facts, taxpayer dollars are managed responsibly, and residents feel heard and respected.

Above all, she values the strong community spirit that makes North Dundas such a special place to live and is committed to helping ensure it remains strong for future generations.
